Trinity Heritage Scenic Byway
Trinity Heritage is located in northwestern California, about 45 miles northwest of Redding. The byway begins in Weaverville and travels northeast, ending at the junction with I-5 north of Weed. It follows CA 3 and FSR 17, which are two-lane paved roads safe for travel by all vehicles. The byway is about 120 miles long. California Highway 3 is usually open year round. Forest Service Road 17 is closed late November through May.
Trinity River Scenic Byway
Trinity River is in northwest California, traveling between I-5 and US 101. Eastern access is near Redding and its western near Arcata. The byway is approximately 140 miles long and follows CA 299. The road is a two-lane paved road suitable for all types of vehicles. It is usually passable year-round but winter driving conditions can be hazardous.
Yuba Donner Scenic Byway
Yuba Donner is in northeast California, about 80 miles northeast of Sacramento. The byway forms a loop drive through Tahoe National Forest. It follows CA 20, CA 49, CA 89, and I-80. All roads followed are suitable for all types of vehicles. Yuba Donner is 170 miles long and usually open year-round.
