Cedar Breaks Scenic Byway

Cedar Breaks is 14 miles east of Cedar City in southwest Utah. The short six-mile byway follows UT 148 alongside Cedar Breaks National Monument between UT 14 and UT 143. Utah Highway 148 is a two-lane paved road suitable for all types of vehicles. Cedar Breaks is closed during winter.

Eccles Canyon Scenic Byway

Eccles Canyon is 50 miles southeast of Provo in central Utah. It begins south of Scofield and follows UT 264 west to the junction with UT 31, a distance of 16 miles. Utah Highway 264 is a two-lane paved road suitable for all vehicles. It usually remains open year-round, but chains or snow tires may be required at times from October to April.

Fishlake Scenic Byway

Fishlake is in south-central Utah about 30 miles southeast of Richfeld. The 16-mile byway follows UT 25 between UT 24 and Fremont River Road (FSR 036). Utah Highway 25 is a two-lane paved road suitable for all vehicles. The byway generally remains open year-round but use extra caution in winter.

Flaming Gorge - Uinta's Scenic Byway

The Flaming Gorge - Uinta's scenic byway is in northeast Utah. It begins in Vernal and travels north to Manila. The 67-mile route follows US 191 and UT 44 across Ashley National Forest. Both are two-lane paved roads suitable for all vehicles and usually remain open year-round. Caution is needed when traveling the byway in winter, especially in the higher elevations.

Huntington Canyon Scenic Byway

Huntington Canyon travels between Fairview and Huntington in central Utah. It follows UT 31, a two-lane paved road suitable for all types of vehicles. The byway is 48 miles long and remains open year-round. Snow tires or chains may be required at times from October through April.
